Our top drawer quality steel pipes are manufactured in mills that are fully automated to ensure highest quality and complete soundness. JST's mills has ISO 9001:2000 certification from Bureau Veritas and has on-line quality inspection designed and approved by Bureau Veritas.

Quality control is thus a continuous process and culminates in the integration of efforts directed at the development, maintainence and improvement of quality at each production level. We inspect each and every single pipe for pinholes and random checking of samples is conducted for accurate thickness, zinc coating, length etc., so that we are proud of each pipe which leaves our premises.

The techniques adopted in manufacturing and quality control include:
We use an Electric Resistance Welding procedure known as High Frequency Induction Welding which uses the parent metal to fuse the edges thus maintaining same chemistry in the final product with only a fractional change in grain structure. This is coupled with an online Seam Annealing system to uniformly balance the grain structure. Thermatool Welding ensures the integrity of the product.

Debeading is practised to be able to trim the internal bead of pipes in height to meet specific customer's requirements.
